What is the address of the wedding ceremony and reception venue?
All wedding events will be held at The Jefferson Hotel, located at: 101 West Franklin Street, Richmond, Virginia, 23220. The ceremony and reception will be held in the Empire Ballroom on the second floor.
What accommodations are available?
Yes! We have secured a room block at The Jefferson Hotel (our venue) and The Linden Row Inn for Thursday and Friday night to ensure there are comfortable options for everyone. Both hotels are conveniently located near the venue and offer a range of amenities for your stay. Booking information will be provided closer to the wedding date, and we encourage you to reserve your room early to secure the best rates and availability.
What is the easiest way to get to and from your wedding venue?
The easiest way to get to The Jefferson Hotel is by car. For those traveling from out of town or who prefer not to drive, taxis and rideshare services like Uber and Lyft are widely available in the area. We recommend checking traffic or parking details in advance to make your arrival as smooth as possible!
Is there parking available at your wedding venue?
Free parking will be provided in a wedding-registered lot, so you can park with ease and enjoy the evening without worrying about parking fees.
Wedding Dress Code
What is the dress code for your wedding?
Black-tie. We ask that men wear a tuxedo/elevated black suit and women wear a floor-length gown. More information can be found about the dress code within the "attire" tab.
Are there any colors or styles you'd prefer me to wear?
We would love for our guests to bring some color and shine to our black-tie winter celebration! While the wedding party will be wearing classic black, we encourage you to embrace jewel tones, deep colors, shimmer, and metallics. Think emerald, ruby, sapphire, gold, or silver, and feel free to add a touch of sparkle or shine to your outfit. For women, formal gowns or elegant dresses are perfect, and for men, a tuxedo or dark suit is ideal. We can’t wait to see you all dressed up and adding to the beauty of our special day!
Will a coat check be available?
Yes, we will have a coat check available at the venue. There will be no outdoor activities, so feel free to leave your coat with the attendants for the rest of the evening.
Reception Activities
Will there be a traditional money dance?
Yes! In honor of Tyler's Filipino heritage, we will be celebrating with a traditional money dance during the reception. This dance is a special part of his culture, and we invite guests who wish to participate to bring a monetary gift to pin on the bride and groom. If you'd like to join in the fun, please feel free to bring cash to contribute to the dance as a way to bless the newlyweds.
What dining and beverage options will be available at the reception?
Following passed Hors d'œuvre at cocktail hour, we are delighted to offer a plated dinner with your choice of entree. Detailed menu options will be provided closer to the event, ensuring there is a selection to please all guests.
An open bar will be available throughout the evening, featuring a variety of wines, beers, and signature cocktails.
